Imports Booking Executive at Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics

Job Purpose:

• To coordinate and manage import bookings with shipping lines and overseas agents, ensuring timely booking confirmations, accurate job opening, effective customer communication, and smooth coordination of import shipments in line with company procedures and customer requirements.

Resposibilities:  

• Process import booking requests with shipping lines and follow up on timely confirmation and release.
• Open import jobs in the operating system upon booking release, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
• Provide customers with timely and accurate booking updates and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and processing of confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate booking records and track pending bookings, changes, and delays.
• Escalate booking discrepancies and operational delays promptly.
• Prepare booking status reports and comply with company procedures and customer requirements.
• proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Logistics and Shipping, or Diploma In Clearing And Forwarding
• 2–3 years’ experience in import operations or freight forwarding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
