Imports Intern at Reeds Africa Consult

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation (invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions)
• Support tracking of incoming shipments and coordination with clearing agents and freight forwarders
• Maintain accurate records of all import activities and related costs
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory and customs requirements
• Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery
• Help in updating the ERP system with shipment and delivery status
• Provide general administrative support to the imports and logistics team

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Clearing and Forwarding, Logistics, or a related field
• Familiarity with customs procedures, HS codes, and port operations is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced logistics environment
