Work Summary

• The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as very basic troubleshooting of the data collection project.

Work Responsibilities

• Responsible for data collection and data management following DataForce by TransPerfect’s and/or the client’s protocols
• Guide and assist participants through the study process
• Monitor and manage participant flow within the site
• Address participant questions and concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with research staff to ensure data collection is conducted smoothly
• Provide feedback on session dynamics and participant engagement
• Assist in preparing session materials and setting up facilities
• Idiomatic fluency in Swahili
• Advanced English
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related field preferred
• Experience in moderation, facilitation, or similar roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage groups and foster a positive environment
• Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing scenarios.
• Knowledge of research methodologies and ethical considerations is a plus
