MCK INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT PROGRAMME CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Media Council of Kenya in partnership with recognised media houses is rolling out an internship programme for the Financial Year 2022/2023 that is geared towards providing journalism students with practical work experience before graduation and to prepare them for the job market.
The programme will offer internship placement opportunities to journalism students across the country starting December 2021.
Duration of the Internship
The internship will be for a period of Three Months (3) 3rd Septembet - November 2022. The Media Council of Kenya will provide up to KShs 15,000 for the trainees’ upkeep.

Eligibility
Individual journalism students who meet the above requirements are eligible to apply.
Universities or middle-level colleges teaching journalism and media studies are also eligible to apply on behalf of the students.
Interested journalism students or universities and middle - level colleges can submit an application letter together with the other requirements to: internship@mediacouncil.or.ke with the subject title:
Application for MCK Industrial Placement Programme on or before Friday, 12th August 2022.
Applicants should clearly indicate their preferred regions and media houses. However, the placement will be at the discretion of the Council.
