Interior Design Intern at Superior Homes

Responsibilities:

• Prepare interior design options for all SHK house types.
• Research on all available interior design practices in the Kenyan market.
• Research and implementation of global best practices in interior design.
• Oversee procurement of finishes both locally and internationally to achieve SHK goals.
• Develop interior design manual and plan for SHK.
• Lead interior design from project inception.
• Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
• Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
• Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
• Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
• Inspect design after completion to determine whether company goals have been met.

Requirements:

• Diploma in interior design or related field.
• Portfolio of design work.
• Experience with computational design.
• Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
• Project management experience.
