    Internal Audit Manager

     

    We are looking for a hands-on and self-starter Internal Audit Manager to join our newly established Internal Audit function. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the audit and consulting/advisory activities across our organization and addressing risks within our environment. Your key objective is to ensure audit assignments are successful, run smoothly and result in minimizing risk and exposure for Bolt.
    You will be working with the Internal Audit Director on strategic initiatives to build an agile and scalable Internal Audit function while managing the day to day operations. The Internal Audit Manager is also expected to drive the creation and integration of data analytic capabilities within the Internal Audit function.

    In the near future the role will also include leading the audit team on assignment and managing team members’ performance to deliver on short and long-term objectives by creating an engaged team, a work environment that promotes trust and mutual respect and maximizing team members’ potential. You will be cooperating with all internal teams within Bolt, including, Finance, Legal, Commerce, HR, IT, as well as our operational teams.

    Your daily adventures will include:

    • Contribute to building the Internal Audit Function - This will start by obtaining a solid understanding of Bolt’s business followed by identifying key operational as well as key financial and IT risks for your region.
    • Contribute to the preparation of the annual audit plan and ensure that such plan is supported by a comprehensive risk assessment for the region.
    • Advice on, plan and lead or conduct audits, special reviews and investigations in your region within the required timeframes and in accordance with departmental methodology, policies and standards.
    • Provide relevant audit recommendations and obtain management’s buy-in through appropriate action plans, and perform monitoring on follow up.
    • Contribute for the region to periodical management reporting.
    • Deliver and manage internal projects contributing to our department strategy, e.g. related to our team, data-analytics, quality assurance program, continuous auditing and monitoring.
    • Develop and utilise Data Analytics (DA) techniques for audit testing.
    • Leverage technology to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the function.
    • Act as an independent and professional sparring partner to Bolt’s group and regional management, support functions, and business functions.
    • Provide training and create awareness on specific topics, e.g. issues, internal controls, tools, and best practices.

    We are looking for:

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a public accounting firm and/or in an internal audit function. Big 4 experience is a merit.
    • Prior responsibilities should include: assessing process risks, evaluating business processes including identifying and evaluating the design of controls, executing and documenting audit tests.
    • Good understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ITIL, NIST) and best practices and methodologies to address these requirements.
    • Ability to apply these requirements to organizational internal control frameworks.
    • Relevant experience of utilising and developing Data Analytics techniques for audit testing.
    • Good general accounting/finance skills and experience.
    • Experience with Workday and/or other financial systems (ERP, consolidation tools and management reporting tools) is a plus.
    • University degree with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. Additionally CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA or similar certification is required.
    • You have very solid knowledge about internal audit in a global organization.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relations with internal stakeholders, executives and teams in a multicultural global entrepreneurial environment.
    • You believe in open, honest and direct communication with colleagues and working together to come up with the best solutions.
    • Not afraid to challenge and question colleagues (regardless of level) in a constructive manner always with the best solution for Bolt at heart.
