Junior Software Developers at Davis & Shirtliff Group

The successful candidate will be required to handle the following responsibilities:

• Translate user requirements and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable systems.
• Engage users to identify areas with potential for technology solutions.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Offer user support for existing applications.

Key Qualifications:

• Holder of an Upper 2nd class honours degree in Computer Science or closely related field from a recognised institution.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with general purpose programming languages and tools such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, SQL, PHP and DevOps.
• Knowledge of database environments preferably Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of applications such as Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Microsoft PowerApps, Human Resource Management, Field Service Management (Synchroteam), Business Intelligence, Helpdesk and Dynamics 365 Business Central will be an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications in the Systems listed above will be an added advantage.
