About the Role

• We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers across the full stack, contributing to the design and implementation of both user-facing interfaces and scalable backend services. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about end-to-end development and eager to learn in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

Requirements

Required Skills (product-specific) 

• Zeraki Analytics 
• Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot for Backend development and TypeScript/Angular for frontend development 
• A high-level understanding of Education systems and exam grading 
• Zeraki Finance 
• A high-level understanding of accounting concepts (and FinTech in general) 
• Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot for Backend development and TypeScript/Angular for frontend development 
• Zeraki Flow 
• A high-level understanding of helpdesk/user-support tools and functionality 
• Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot for Backend development and TypeScript/Angular for frontend development 
• Familiarity with microservices architecture 

General Requirements (What We’re Looking For) 

• Strong foundational knowledge in computer science and software development 
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.) 
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts (e.g., APIs, databases, version control) 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
