Master of Ceremony at Kenya Institute of Bankers

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Introduce performers or speakers in a way that puts them at ease.
• Announce and give a brief description of items on the agenda/program and recognize sponsors and other dignitaries at the event.
• Create an atmosphere of interest and expectation.
• Provide humor during the transitions.
• Ensure a seamless transition between sections of the program and keep the event moving at a steady pace within time constraints.

Role Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Journalism, Marketing and PR, Mass Communication or any other related field.
• A strong understanding of Coprorate Events.
• Acting and Directing Skills.
• Previous proven record in events management of at least 5 years.
• Presentation and communication skills.
• Resilience – is able to withstand operational challenges and maintain momentum.
•  Emotional Intelligence - manages emotions in a mature and composed manner in the work environment.
•  Corporate MC experience in a banking event is a distinct advantage
