Job Summary:

The County Public Service Board Wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill the following positions in the department of Health Services.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities

• assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient's outcomes;.
• providingappropriatehealthcareserviceincludingIntegratedManagementofChildhoodIllnesses(IMCI),immunization,PMTCT,ante-natalcareanddelivery,
• providing health education and counselling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
• referring patients and clients appropriately;
• facilitating patients'admissionandinitiatingdischargeplans;
• maintainingrecordsonpatients/clientshealthconditionandcare;
• ensuringa tidy andsafeclinicalenvironment;
• collecting and compiling
• Offer comprehensive nursing services in a health facility
• Shall work in flexible shifts
• Strong commitment to patient care
• Any other relevant duty and responsibility within the County Health Department

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
• registration certificate with nursing council of Kenya
• valid practicing license
• Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized
