Laboratory Technician at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Our client in Naromoru is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support diagnostic and laboratory testing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate reporting of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Collect and prepare samples for analysis
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
• Ensure proper storage and handling of specimens
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration
• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards
• Support the Veterinary Officer with diagnostic data
• Monitor laboratory inventory and supplies

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Animal Health, or related field
• Minimum 2+ years’ relevant laboratory experience
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
