Key Competencies

• Capability of performing tests in a clinical laboratory sections;bacteriology,haematology,immunology,chemistry,parasitology and serology
• Full knowledge and understanding of quality control protocols.
• Full knowledge and understanding of Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in laboratory science from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license from KMLTTB
• Computer literacy
• At least three years’ experience in laboratory work 
• Work Experience in a comprehensive care center (CCC) setup will be an added advantage

Summary of Roles 

• Providing efficient and effective laboratory examination as per the SOP manuals and report the test results.
• Perform and adhere to daily quality assurance and quality control procedures 
• Dispatching medical reports to clinical team
• Undertake Procurement of lab equipment and laboratory reagents
• Coordinating all activities taking place in the laboratory
• Compiling reports of laboratory and store activities regularly and when required.
• Correctly dispose of biohazardous materials, labeling and handling of all materials.
• Adhere and adapt to organizational goal, objectives and standards of performance policies and procedures
• Other Roles as shall be assigned by the Team Lead. /HSL
