    Lead Generator / Data Mining- BD Intern

    What you would be expected to do
    Business Development


    • Conduct online search of prospects using a cross section on target industries.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline list of prospects across East & Southern Africa. 
    • Qualify potential prospects and make initial contact.
    • Update regional manager on reverts from potential prospect’s. 
    • Update trackers on outcomes from initial communication.
    • Book and schedule meetings for territory Leads.
    • Updates prospects accounts across each territory
    • Arrange and schedule for samples to be sent to prospect ,
    • Assist with client meetings when territory lead is not available

    Incoming Social platform leads

    • Respond/ make initial contact to all ESA leads coming through Social platforms.
    • Share qualified leads with territory heads.

    Conferences and events.

    • Identify and prospect for relevant conferences, events across Southern Africa.
    • Make initial contact with conference and event organizers.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Generating leads and identifying potential customers through research and outreach
    • Engage with potential customers through cold calls and email
    • Continuously improve product knowledge and keep up-to-date with industry trends
    • Maintain adequate number of active prospects conversations as per set targets

    You might be a strong candidate if you

    • Have a knowledge of Sun King products
    • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers.
    • Have a Business Development or Sales background
    • Can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage leads and sales data.
    • Have a knowledge of social Media applications like LinkedIn, Facebook.
