Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. All applicants must have:
- A PhD degree qualification in Supply Chain Management from a accredited and recognized institution of higher learning
- Be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
In addition, applicants who possess the following additional qualifications will have an added advantage:
- At least three years teaching experience at university level
- Evidence of publications in referred journals
- Evidence of attendance and contribution at conferences, seminars and/or workshops
