    Lecturer – Obstetrics and Gynaecology

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent specialist qualification from a recognized university
    • Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) with a valid practicing license
    • Evidence of at least two publications in refereed scholarly journals
      OR One refereed journal publication and one scholarly book chapter
    • Demonstrated potential for academic research and postgraduate training
    • Evidence of continuous professional development, including:
      • Participation in academic conferences
      • Research presentations
      • Clinical teaching activities
      • Academic workshops
    • Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification

    Expected Responsibilities

    • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students
    • Participate in clinical teaching and supervision of trainees
    • Conduct research and publish scholarly work
    • Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
    • Provide clinical services in affiliated teaching hospitals
    • Participate in departmental academic programs and professional development activities
