Job Requirements
Duties include, but not limited to:

• Receiving and verifying acquired information materials
• Ensuring accessioning, stamping, and labelling of acquired information resources
• Shelving and shelf arrangement,
• Charging and discharging library material
• Ensuring pasting date due labels, identifying materials for binding, spine marking, fixing of book
• jackets
• Cataloguing and classification of information resources
• Filing catalogue cards

• Establish material needs in the library, receive the acquired information materials and list to the library materials

 
Qualifications
For appointment to this internship position, a candidate must:

• Have a Diploma in Library Studies, information science from a recognized institution
• Be a member of Kenya Libraries Association
• Have graduated not earlier than year 2017;
• Be proficient in computer skills; and
• Be energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
