    Logistics Manager

    The Role

    We are looking for a leader to join the team to expand our network of emergency service partners. As the Logistics Manager, your goal is to rapidly expand our emergency partner network geographically and in terms of response capacity and engagement.

    • Lead partner acquisition and engagement strategy aligned with the company's expansion goals and targets in Kenya and beyond.
    • Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for acquisition, engagement, and partnership management. Provide guidance, mentorship, and resources to achieve ambitious targets.
    • Be hands-on in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating partnerships with providers to expand our network, ensuring we build strong partnerships and have sufficient coverage and capacity to meet growing demand.
    • Leverage data analytics to optimize the allocation of partners to areas of high demand and low coverage or to optimize onboarding and engagement.
    • Collaborate with other teams to align strategies and timelines for expansion.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 of those years managing high-performing teams.
    • Advanced degree in relevant field or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant professional experience.
    • Proven experience in a highly strategic and analytical role, preferably in rapidly-scaling mobility or logistics start-ups, international assistance companies or other relevant domains.
    • Demonstrated experience in logistics and operations, including partner acquisition and managing strategic partnerships.
    • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
    • Proficient in data analysis, using insights to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
