Maintenance Technician at Haco Industries Kenya Limited

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all Company equipment and machinery. This is accomplished through the proactive execution of scheduled preventive maintenance, expert troubleshooting and repair of complex systems, and the installation and commissioning of new equipment to maximize operational uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission new machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate components and modify existing machinery and equipment to enhance performance or functionality.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment uptime and longevity.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostic analysis, and troubleshoot complex systems and equipment issues.
• Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to machine operators on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Perform regular utility checks and walk-throughs to verify all facility utilities (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are fully functional.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical .
• 3+ years of progressive professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• Highly proficient in Injection and Blow Molding machine operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical information.
• A respectful and collaborative team player.
