Manager, Consumer Protection at Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare the customer service charter;
• Development of strategic policy for consumer engagement;
• Maintain an effective communication and creation of awareness of EPRA services to the stakeholders;
• Prepare drafts on procedures, for dissemination of information to consumers;
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys;
• Handle related customer queries and complaints;
• Conduct consumer awareness campaigns;
• Implement customer survey report recommendations;
• Support in monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness of customer engagement initiatives;
• Preparation of departmental budgets;
• Developing departmental performance targets;
• Preparing departmental procurement plans;
• Preparing departmental work plans; and
• Ensuring adherence to the quality management systems.

Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must be atsupervisory level
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Law, Criminology, Economics, Education,Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Communication and Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A Master’s degree in engineering, Law, Criminology, Economics, Education,Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Communication and Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Membership with a professional body, in good standing, where applicable
• Certificate in Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
• certificate course in management lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in Computer applications skills;
• Demonstrated results in work performance; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
