Job Specification Duties and responsibilities

• Oversees deployment of projects, creation of collateral, and training of sellers and partners in cloud computing.
• Manages the development of business models for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), XaaS and smart city services models.
• Oversees acceleration consumption in next-gen high potential customer accounts by providing deep technical expertise and support in one out of the following four areas of specialization:
• Data centre Transformation, Custom Applications, Media Services, Security, Compliance and Privacy.
• Steer in Identifying, validate, and grow opportunities to accelerate consumption in next-gen high potential customer accounts, in partnership with the sales team, by driving solution architecture for both data center cloud and 3rd party solutions
• Leads in the development, implementation and enforcing of ICT and
• Smart city solutions policies, guidelines, implementation, and use of technology within the Technopolis
• Spearheads research and implementation of modern technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing,
• loT to improve the quality of life of citizens and greater efficiency for better public services within the Konza Technopolis.
• Oversees development and implementation of strategies for commercializing data center & smart city solutions.
• Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
• Oversee development and implementation of strategies that would ensure satisfaction of customers.

Person Specification For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• A minimum period of ten (10) years’ work experience three (3) of which should be in a senior management position;
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering orequivalent qualification from recognized institution;
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• A professional qualification;
• Management Course from a recognized institution;
• Membership to a recognized professional body;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
•  Proficiency in computer applications
