Managing Director at Eagle HR Consultants

Job Purpose

• Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will oversee enterprise business operations and provide strategic and inspirational leadership to staff of the enterprise. The Managing Director’s responsibilities will include but not limited to implementing strategic plans and driving enterprise success.

Person Specifications
The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or animal science from a recognized institution
• A Master’s degree in any of the following fields; Agriculture, Agricultural engineering, Veterinary medicine, Economics, Animal production, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Agri-business or any related field from a recognized institution.
• A PhD in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
• A professional qualification in a relevant field where applicable.
• Be a member of a relevant professional body and in good standing where applicable.
• Have demonstrable knowledge and experience in agricultural production and management of large scale farming activities.
• Possess certification in a leadership /strategic management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
• Have a minimum of 15 years relevant work experience, five (5) of which must have been at a senior management level in a comparable organization.
• Integrity compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will be expected to comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by presenting valid clearance certificates or proof of having initiated certification of the following:

• Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
• Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Tax Compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Report from a recognized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

Terms of Service.

• Appointment to the position is on a contract term of three (3) years renewable based on performance.
