Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the life insurance business across Kenya.
• Drive growth through product innovation, strategic partnerships, and digital distribution.
• Oversee financial performance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Cultivate a high-performing team culture aligned to the group’s broader mission and values.
• Represent the business with key stakeholders including regulators, partners, and the board.

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years' experience in the insurance sector, with at least 5 years in executive leadership within life insurance.
• Proven track record in driving business growth, innovation, and operational scale.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and the East African insurance landscape.
• Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
• Experience working within or alongside a diversified financial services group is advantageous.
