Market / Sales Analyst at East African Portland Cement Plc (EAPC Plc)

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Studying and analyzing marketplace conditions to assess the market potential and determine methods to improve sales;
• Developing sales plans and target in collaboration with the sales managers;
• Forecasting and monitoring sales performance against targetsandgivefeedbacktothefield salesteam;
• Analyzing competitors’products,pricing strategies,and marketing campaignsinorder to developacompetitive strategy;
• Analyzing customer demographics and behaviour patterns to identify opportunities for new products;
• Recommending changes to existing products based on customer feedback about what they like and dislike about current offerings;
• Identifyingnewbusinessopportunitiesby researching industry trends and identifying new technologies or methods of doing business that could be applied to existing products;
• Creating reports detailing findings from research and recommending steps to take to improveperformancein aparticular area;
• Preparing andpresenting sales performancereports.

Person specifications
Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Degree in Commerceor Information Technology ;
• Atleastfive(5)years’experienceindatafield preferably financial ,economic,statistical analysisor IT ;
• Business acumen,financial literacyandunderstanding of businesstrends;
• Proficiency in Microsoft products for data analysis and presentation;
• Experience with statistical or financial modeling software ;
• Excellentanalyticalskills;
• Unquestionableintegrity
