    Area Sales Assistants

    Specific responsibilities will include:

    • Offer first line support to marketing and selling activities within the assigned Regions, markets and customers.
    • Generate leads and convert sales to meet assigned targets.
    • Management of customer relations tosustain sales.
    • Carry out market visits and communication with the customers,ensureefficientcustomerservice delivery.
    • Gather market intelligence to facilitate negotiations with variousstakeholders
    • Maintain market awareness and closely monitor changes in the market that impact cement customers, understand dips and rises in demand for cement, sales strategies of competitors.
    • Support marketing activities to ensure high product visibility in theirRegion.
    • Ensureextensivemarket coverageandexploit allselling opportunitiesona scheduledbasis.
    • Preparationand timely submissionof reports

    Person specifications
    Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications

    • DegreeinbusinessrelatedfieldpreferablySalesor Marketing ;
    • At least one(1)yearexperienceinSales andMarketing;
    • ExperienceinFMCG orcement/ andsteel industries will be anaddedadvantage;
    • Excellent negotiationandcommunication skills.

    Market / Sales Analyst

    Specific responsibilities will include:

    • Studying and analyzing marketplace conditions to assess the market potential and determine methods to improve sales;
    • Developing sales plans and target in collaboration with the sales managers;
    • Forecasting and monitoring sales performance against targetsandgivefeedbacktothefield salesteam;
    • Analyzing competitors’products,pricing strategies,and marketing campaignsinorder to developacompetitive strategy;
    • Analyzing customer demographics and behaviour patterns to identify opportunities for new products;

    Area Sales Managers

    Specific responsibilities will include:

    • Provide support and coordination of marketing and selling activities within the assigned Regions and markets and deliverauniquecustomerexperience.
    • Generate sales leads and convert to sales through customer relation based approach to achieve sales targetsfrom existing andprospectivecustomers.
    • Grow sales within the assigned Regions through continuousrecruitment and management of customers.
    • Manage assigned markets through constant visits and communication with the customers, ensure efficient customer service delivery and sustain customer loyalty through enhanced customerexperience.
    • Meet a Bottom Line by convincing existing clients to increase their purchases (up selling) and search for new clients.
    • Develop and submit comprehensive proposals based on individually or team assessed needsof both existing and potential customers to exploit the opportunities in the market.
    • Efficiently gather market information to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications with the executive managers.

    Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:

    • Degreein businessrelatedstudies preferably Salesor Marketing;
    • At least five (5)years’ experience in Sales and Marketing of which three must be in FMCG or cement/ andsteel industries;
    • Excellentselling acumen;
    • Negotiationandcommunication skills;
    • Extensiveknowledgeof thecement industry;
    • Excellent countrywide geographical knowledge;
    • Possessionof clean&validdrivinglicense;
    • Unquestionableintegrity

    The appointment is for a period of three (3) years renewable, subject to satisfactory performance and delivery of set performance targets.
    The Company offers competitive salary and benefits.
