    Marketing and Sales Assistant - 2 Posts

    NKPCU/HRM/0 3 /202 4
    Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
    Basic Salary: Kshs. 47,714 (Minimum) – Kshs. 69,326 (maximum)
    Other remunerations: Based on prevailing Government guidelines

    Reporting to Senior Marketing Assistant

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Participating in market analysis to identify available gaps;
    • Implementing marketing strategies in line with the marketing work plan;
    • Participating in the preparation of promotional materials;
    • Participating in the production and distribution of promotional materials;
    • Participating in trade fairs and exhibitions both locally and internationally;
    • Participating in developing market survey instruments;
    • Collecting and compiling of data for market survey;
    • Compiling requests from coffee dealers for direct sale;
    • Updating and maintaining the e-commerce trade platform;
    • Collecting and delivering of coffee samples and catalogue for direct sale
    • Participating in preparation of documentation for shipment.
    • Participating in preparing the Marketing and Sales report;
    • Participating in conducting customer satisfaction surveys;
    • Preparing customer satisfaction report and maintaining customer data base;
    • Implementing policies, standard operating procedures and guidelines; and
    • Proposing the departmental budget requirements.


    • Diploma in any of the following fields: Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in Computer applications; and
    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
    • An Applicant with a least two (2) years’ experience in the coffee value chain and marketing is an added advantage
