Marketing Intern at Mideva Labs

What you will be doing

• Support the team in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness for our programs and services
• Support content development for digital media platforms and websites - developing marketing copy for campaigns, collateral, case studies, and newsletters
• Be in charge of managing the Idea Studio Africa community - through the Idea Studio Africa community events and sessions
• Support with program outreach and participant recruitment for Idea Studio Africa
• Prepare presentations with regard to insights, recommendations and data
• Forging strong links and relationshis with a variety of stakeholders, promoting Idea Studio Africa at events, workshops, sessions and conferences.
• Understand and design creative strategies to engage members of the community, including designing events, workshops, meetups, hangouts.
• Immerse in programs to learn and practice skills such as human-centered design, project management, leadership, collaboration, stakeholder engagement and management.

What you bring/Desired Qualifications

• Recent graduate - in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
• Experience in using digital tools (Google Suite, Canva, and others)
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in organizing events, building relationships and networks
• Previous marketing or related internship experience is a plus
