    MEA Monitoring Lead

    Job Purpose

    As a MEA Monitoring Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and expansion of MEA CH business by ensuring robust Governance through the ongoing monitoring of GSK Internal Control Framework and compliance programs.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Partnering with E&C and cross functional leads in the markets and at the BU level to proactively identify and manage risks associated with market’s business strategies.
    • Preparing the scope of annual monitoring for endorsement by MEA MT and be contact of point for outsourced Internal Audit and other monitoring teams to enhance enterprise oversight. Develop testing and sampling methodology where necessary.
    • Coordinate individual market monitoring activities (deep dives, quarterly MM, third party audits, etc.), as per the agreed monitoring plan (e.g. conduct risk assessment), select the samples, agree timelines, and prepare for monitoring activity in close partnership with local market LTs.
    • Conduct independent testing of transactions and supporting documentation, walkthroughs of processes and controls.
    • Providing regular reports to MEA MT on status of Internal Control Framework, emerging risks and suggest improvements. Reviewing monitoring results to determine emerging trends and risks and drive effective CAPAs
    • Supporting E&C team in the markets with route cause analysis of the monitoring findings to enable robust and timely management actions to address risks identified, enable mechanism to track actions until completion, report status to management and incorporate into the next review cycle.
    • Partnering with cross-functional teams to assess the continuous improvement needs in operational excellence of compliance programs.

    Why you?

    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
    • Background in Data Science and Data Analytics is a plus
    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong capability in cross-functional work and business
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
    • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
    • Accounting and auditing related certificates
