    Assistant Manager – Credit Control

    Duties and Responsiblities

    • Preparation of bad debt provision and aging as per IFRS 9.
    • Preparation of weekly credit control management reports.
    • Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely 
    • payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
    • Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the production team.
    • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
    • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the company.
    • Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the production team Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.
    • Fully involved in internal and external audit.

    Key Result Areas

    • Reduction in company debtor book.
    • Reduction in DSO.
    • Timely preparation of credit control reports.

    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office modules.

    • Excellent presentation skills to prepare detailed reports

    • Ability to work independently and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision

    Professional and Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business related course.
    • CPA (K) or ICM (K).
    • 5 of years’ work experience in a credit control role
