    Job Description

    Under the overall supervision of the Regional Director for East and Horn Africa, and the direct supervision of the Regional Public Information Officer, the incumbent will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the production and editing of IOM East & Horn of Africa audiovisual materials including thematic videos, promotional materials for the organizations campaigns and community engagement videos for dissemination over social media.
    •  Assist in quality review of incoming audiovisual materials from IOM missions in the region and its archival in the IOM Media Library.
    •  Produce a series of corporate visibility products to be used by HQ, RO and country missions to enhance the brand image of IOM.
    • Support MCD initiatives on data visualization of feedback collected in the field to enhance the quality of work produced and ensure consistency with IOM branding Professionalism

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years university studies in Communications, Multimedia Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution
    • Fluency in editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe editing tools;
    •  One (1) year experience in video editing and production.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
    • Proven ability to produce quality work accurately and concisely according to set deadlines.
    • Good knowledge of spoken and written English, Swahili, or other languages spoken in East & Horn of Africa
