Music/CRE Teacher at WiseCare Agency

We are recruiting a qualified and passionate Music and CRE Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Music and Christian Religious Education (CRE), fostering students’ academic and moral development in line with the school’s ethos and curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Music and CRE, adhering to the school’s curriculum.
• Foster student engagement through a variety of teaching methods, both theoretical and practical.
• Encourage and nurture students’ musical talents, including music theory and performance.
• Integrate Christian values into the CRE curriculum to support the moral and spiritual development of students.
• Organize and lead musical performances, choir rehearsals, and school events.
• Prepare students for participation in music festivals, competitions, and other relevant programs.
• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment conducive to creativity and discipline.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Music and CRE across the curriculum.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure proper maintenance and management of musical instruments and classroom resources.
• Stay abreast of trends and best practices in education, particularly in Music and CRE.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education, specializing in Music and Christian Religious Education (CRE).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in playing musical instruments.
• Proficiency in teaching both music theory and practical skills is highly desirable.
• Ability to incorporate technology into teaching and learning processes.
