Music Teacher at Rose of Sharon Academy

This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music theory, and music education to students. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting music classes, providing piano instruction, and fostering a love for music among students. The teacher will also be expected to assess students' progress, organize recitals, and collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience at RSA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Music Theory and Music Education
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students
• Relevant degree or certification in Music or Education
• Previous teaching experience is a plus

(Cambridge Curriculum)

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree,
• Be TSC registered,
• at least 5 years’ experience teaching Cambridge Music.
• Proficiency in multiple instruments and experience training for Music Festivals is required.
