MYP Design Teacher at Still I Rise

Role Description

• Still I Rise International School - Nairobi is looking for MYP teachers for History, English, Music, Early Literacy, Visual Art, Geography, Philosophy, Design, Mathematics and Sciences. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya. As a teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and innovative lesson plans for students. You will also be expected to assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant field
• Teaching certification from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of the MYP curriculum framework and its implementation
• Ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans that engage and challenge students
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students' families
• Commitment to student learning, growth, and development
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and diverse educational setting
