NPHLS Nursing Officers (3 Positions)
- Job Type Contract
- Qualification Diploma
- Experience 2 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Medical / Healthcare
- Salary Range KSh 50,000 - KSh 100,000/month
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to medical emergencies within the Laboratories
- Offer first aid services.
- Carry out travel vaccination.
- Facilitate patient referral to hospital.
- Facilitate medical evacuations. Take stock of medical emergency supplies.
- Carry out health education.
- Facilitate patient referral to other hospitals for further diagnosis
- Ensure that medical equipment is well calibrated and functional andundertakesecondary screening in the absence of a clinician
Qualifications and experience

The Nursing officer must meet the following requirements
- Have a diploma in nursing or Bachelor degree in nursing
- Must be registered by the Nursing Council
- Holder of a valid practicing License from Nursing Council
- At least 2 years working experience in Nursing
- Knowledge of Infection, Prevention and Control in health facilities
- Experience working with Ministry of Health systems on COVID19 is anaddedadvantage
- Good report writing and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
