    Nurse In-Charge

    The overall purpose of the job:

    • Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supervising and managing the nursing unit and the operations within the assigned Outpatient Centre to achieve effective treatment outcomes

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administration of medicine and performance of minor clinical procedures Management of inventory within the Outpatient Centre

    • Provision of maternal and child healthcare services
    • Patients triaging
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs regarding triage and nursing procedures
    • Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers
    • Coordination of Infection Prevention and Control program
    • Staff rota management

    Level of Education, Experience & Other Competencies:

    • Diploma in Nursing
    • A degree in Nursing is an added advantage
    • Must have a valid registration certificate from the Nursing council
    • Three years of experience as a practising nurse
    • ICT competency
    • Good customer service skills
    • Self-motivated and a team player
    • Proven analytical, organizational, communications and problem-solving skills
