Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. Conducting study procedures with the study staff, which includes, but not limited to: anthropometric measurements, performing ultrasonography and any other outcome measures as stipulated in the study Standard Operating Procedures
Organizing CMEs in the study sites.
Work with the community health promoters and the nurses in the Maternal and Child Health department to execute the required study procedures
Proper record keeping and filling of study documents
Any other skills as deemed necessary by the study leadership
Vacancy Requirements:
Diploma of degree in community health Nursing and midwifery Mandatory
Recently qualified but not longer than 2 years after graduation or internship Mandatory
Valid practicing license that is up to date Mandatory
Registered with the Nursing council of Kenya Mandatory
Willing to live and work in Migori Mandatory
Passionate about maternal and child health and community health nursing Mandatory
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills on human subject’s research Mandatory
Must be able to work in a professional and ethical manner with competence, accountability, and integrity Mandatory
