Person Profile Description

• Applicants should be holders of Diploma in community health nursing from a recognized institution
• must be willing to work extra hours,must be able to work under minimal supervision, must be a good team player and must be able to engage with young adults and successfully win their confidence
• Proficiency in computer applications and in possession of Certificate of good conduct.
• Must have at least Three (3) years working experience as nurse in a hospital. Previous experience in school nursing will be an added advantage.
• Should be registered as Kenya Community Health Nurse with a Valid practice licence and certificate from the nursing council of Kenya

Job Profile Description

• Triage patients and prioritize attention accordingly.     
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for staffs and their families.     
• Any other duty assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor.     
• Collaborate with clinicians and fellow nurses during any emergency response.     
• Evacuate referral cases to various destinations.     
• Administering the prescribed medications/injections.     
• Conduct all other nursing procedures and maintain sensitivity to patient’s needs.     
• Document procedures and other patient details as required.     
• Inspect the facility and maintain high levels of hygiene and safety standards.     
• Ensure monthly reports are submitted to relevant authorities.     
• Must be able to follow work regulations in keeping with Kabarak University quality policy.
