TERMS OF SERVICE - CONTRACT TERMS OF THREE (3) YEARS

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Fixing and removal of casts, bandages and traction from patients
• Counselling clients/patient on issue orthopedic trauma
• Documenting orthopaedic and trauma case; and
• Assessing and referring patients with musculo-skeletal conditions;
• Participating in management of minor orthopedic trauma case in emergencies
• Cleaning and treating simple wound resulting from orthopedic trauma
• Make follow up of patient with orthopedic in wards and outpatient clinics
• Interpreting radiological image of orthopedic trauma case
• Correcting congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V);
• Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopaedic trauma;
• Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopaedic trauma;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment: -

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: -

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Have Diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution; and
• Holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
• Be registered with the relevant licensing body of Kenya
• Have Certificate in Computer Applications skills from a recognized institution
