Kitui County is located 170Km to the South East of Nairobi City. It covers an area of about 30,496 km2. It borders Machakos and Makueni Counties to the West, Tana River County to the East, Taita-Taveta County to the South, and Embu and Tharaka- Nithi Counties to the North.

Requirements:
- Be a Citizen of Kenya
- Diploma in Orthopaedic Plaster Technology, Orthopaedic Medicine or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations
- Fixing and removing casts, bandages and tractions to and from patients
- Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V)
- Counselling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopaedic trauma
- Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopaedic trauma
- Documenting orthopaedic and trauma case
- Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions
