    Partnership Development Manager, Google Play Apps

    In this role, you are right on the front line, helping developers grow their business on Android by consulting on quality, engagement, business improvements, and go-to-market strategies. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

    Responsibilities

    • Prioritize your partner portfolio, with specific, measurable and achievable/stretch goals to grow your partners to the next level.
    • Utilize Play’s data to analyze your partner’s business and its competitive landscape, generate insights, and recommendations for them to grow.
    • Define partnership strategies and execute go-to-market plans.
    • Stay up to date on latest developments within mobile technology and app development through research, attending/speaking at events, meeting with influencers, etc.
    • Provide feedback on features and business models to Product/Engineering teams and generate and publish best practices from your data and insights.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Experience managing and discussing with partners to create successful relationships and business outcomes.
    • Experience with thee mobile apps market, standards, business models, sales channels, and competitive landscape.
    • Experience in growing partners' businesses.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in consumer applications such as Media and Entertainment.
    • Passion for and understanding of Google products, mobile technology, and mobile experiences.
    • Ability to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative.
