Payables Officer
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
Key responsibilities
- Processing company payments as may be assigned. This include:
- Supplier/creditors payments
- Agents and brokers Commissions/allowances/bonuses
- Claims/ Withdrawals
- Redemptions/disinvestments
- Taxes
- Staff disbursements
- Fund related payments
- Payroll deductions payments
- Any other payments assigned by the company
- Reconciling various Payables related GL accounts as may be assigned
- Process accruals and prepayments
- Prepare payables reports and perform payment/Expense analysis
- Bank agent
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier/stakeholders statements and sending remittances.
- Any other duties that may be allocated by management from time to time
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Finance related field
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience within the financial services industry
