    Principal Enforcement Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan and organize training and development of County enforcement and security officers
    • Liaise with relevant security agencies;
    • Investigating incidents
    • Conducting Institutional risk management
    • Manage Security intelligence system within the County Government
    • Execute periodic security surveys in County departments
    • Advisor to the County Government on security matters
    • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this post, a candidate:

    • Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology/Security Science or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
    • Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Senior Security Officer or comparable position.
    • Must have worked with any of the Disciplined Forces of Kenya or its equivalent for at least ten (10) years
    • Must have a clean Discharge Certificate
    • Must possess Certificate of Good Conduct
    • Must possess First Aid Certificate
    • Must possess Fire Fighting Certificate
    • Have knowledge of ICT.
    • Must be medically and physically fit.
    • Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

    Method of Application

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution

    • Tax compliance certificates
    • Clearance from HELB where necessary
    • Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
    • Clearance from the CRB.
    • Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
