    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support the unit to roll out strategic mix of research methodologies appropriate for Siaya County geographic and sociocultural context.
    • Supervise and provide oversight to major functions of implementation research, including data collection, analysis, documentation, and dissemination.
    • Analyze and evaluate project performance data.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    County Woman Coordinator

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Play a coordination role by supporting the unit in the development and implementation of programmes in support of international and national commitments on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
    • Provision of technical advice to the Chief Operating officer as required by ensuring emerging development support responds to women’s needs and national gender equality priorities;
    • Contribute to mainstreaming gender equality and women’s empowerment into all programs in a coherent manner, through close consultation with all relevant County Government Departments, Agencies and Partners.
    • Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation and dissemination of good practices on gender equality, women’s empowerment and rights

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop an evaluation strategy for the implementation of youth development programs in the county.
    • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and youths in implementation of youth development programs to identify the needs of youths.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Translate resource mobilization strategy and plans into action

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Development of policies and plans;
    • Coordination of service delivery at the Sub County;

    Beach Management Coordinator

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implements conservation activities in line with project action plans this includes species conservation and sustainable fisheries along the Beaches
    • Identifies and pursues strategic conservation, research and capacity building collaborations and partnerships with County and National  governments, civil society organizations, private sector and professional bodies
    • Develops and disseminates communication materials including but not limited to policy briefs and publications with regard to project work to relevant stakeholders and platforms.
    • Collect, collates and maintains a database on marine natural resources and programme relevant monitoring data according to the requirements of the M& E plans and marine programme needs.
    • Contributes to the domestication of relevant national and regional policy instruments at local level in the designated regions.
    • Liaison between the County Government and the Fisher folk communities
    • Develops formats and checklists for participatory monitoring at all levels of the programme; design a template for database management (indicator, baseline data and targets).
    • Ensures prudent management and safety of conservation assets and resources in their custody;
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field from a university recognized in Kenya
