    Principal Human Capital Management Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of human capital regulations relating to pensions, human resource information systems, labour laws and other statutes relating to human resource management
    • Processing, analysis and presentation quarterly staff return reports from the user departments
    • Updating the Human Resource talent pool database, staff establishment, policies and operational documents and manuals
    • Analyse staff progression and makes proposals for career development
    • Represent the Board in policy development meetings both at the executive, legislature and agencies where necessary
    • Ensure compliance with legislations, rules and guidelines
    • Coordinate, up-dating and maintenance of the Human Resource Planning, Management and Development database

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Kenyan Citizen
    • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management/Development/Business Administration/ Labour studies/ Industrial relations from a recognized institution in Kenya
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
    • At least 3 years’ experience in Human Capital Management or Industrial relations.
    • Certificate in management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
    • Member of human resource professional body
    • Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution 

    Method of Application

    • Tax compliance certificates
    • Clearance from HELB where necessary
    • Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
    • Clearance from the CRB.
    • Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
