    Process Development Specialist, Brewing

    About this role

    As the Process Development Technologist you will contribute to the technical role of the S&T team within the global supply business. You will make valuable contributions to the business and build the reputation of the S&T team as trusted technical partner while delivering varied R&D projects across all functions.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Key member of the S&T team helping to deliver business benefit.
    • Role will vary from Project Management to Workstream Leadership to Supporting role depending on the scale and nature of the project.
    • Liaise with suppliers and external agencies to organise and co-ordinate trials externally or in our production sites to evaluate processes, technologies, process aids, ingredients.
    • Design, organise and carry out Technical trials from laboratory to pilot plant scale. Present robust results in clear reports.
    • Plan, co-ordinate and work with Supply in carrying out Plant scale trials.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Brewing, Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
    • A core competency in Brewing and one or more of the following: Liquid manufacturing / processing, Biotechnology, Fermentation, Microbiology, Filtration, CIP, Water Treatment.
    • Several years practical experience in a relevant Technical role.
    • Breadth and depth of knowledge of liquid / manufacturing processes desirable.
    • Clear problem solver and communicator with good analytical and planning skills.
    • Whilst the role will be based primarily in Dublin, successful candidates are expected to travel to the various sites as required.
