    Procurement Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Support Search for Common Ground and donor regulations, policies, processes, procedures, and standards to uphold compliance.
    • Support the procurement process
    • Support asset inventory process

    Contributions

    • Respond to routine procurement requests from staff.
    • Escalate non-routine procurement requests to the supervisor.
    • Support a fair, competitive, and compliant procurement process. 
    • Provide administrative support to the full procurement cycle, including purchase orders, requests for quotes, orders, goods receivable, goods and equipment distribution, etc.
    • Enter vendor information into the supplier database.
    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date supplier database
    • Compile and maintain procurement files, including vendor contracts, leases, rentals, etc.
    • Infuses Search values in all work.

    Education and Experience

    • A diploma or degree in Business Administration
    • At least two years’ experience in procurement and inventory management, preferred
    • Professional qualifications in purchasing and supplies
    • Computer Literate
