Procurement Coordinator at Sistema Biobolsa

Your mission at Sistema.bio

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for defining and Implementing rigorous procurement processes that ensure budget and strategic alignment.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Reviewing the company procurement needs and developing purchasing guidelines
• Establishing suppliers relationships with vendors
• Reviewing monthly procurement needs, planning the procurement and organizing delivery logistics with the support of the field administrators
• Work cross-functionally with the internal teams to manage bulk purchases
• Auditing existing suppliers validity, competitiveness and value for money

More about YOU

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in remote diversified locations
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in either Procurement/Purchasing/Logistics. Relevant professional qualification in Procurement and or Supply Chain Management (CIPS qualification or equivalent is preferred)
• You are proficient in working with google workspace and microsoft office apps 
• You have excellent time management and planning skills
• You have strong ethics and very accountable
• You have excellent negotiations and influencing skills
• You have experience in: 
  • Purchasing, internal logistics or supply chain management
  • Developing and establishing standards & specifications for the procurement of company goods and services. 
  • Managing contracts with suppliers of goods and services including reviewing suppliers contracts prior to renewal

Location, travel and start date

• Based in Nairobi region
• Travelling up to 70% of your time across Central, Mt. Kenya and Rift Valley region
• Closing date 5th August 2022. The applications will however be reviewed on a rolling basis.
