Procurement Supervisor – Makueni at Summit Recruitment and Search

This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient sourcing, contract management, vendor coordination, and preparation of purchase orders to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and manage local procurement of products and services at the right price, time, and quality.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, local laws, and ESG requirements.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports (daily, monthly, quarterly).
• Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to support smooth operations.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, ideally Dynamics 365.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
• Ability to work independently, creatively, and collaboratively within a team.
