Product Development & Client Relations Manager- Kikambala at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements:

• Creation and management of multiple client critical paths.
• Oversee process from initial client communication to sampling, costings, receipt of PO and handover of order to production team.
• Work across all departments to include management, finance, cutting, sample makers, quality control, ironing & packing.
• Bring creative, innovative, and aesthetic support to the design and development process.
• Fabric and trim research and building on current fabric/trim library.

Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the apparel industry.
• Excellent communication skills with experience reporting to senior management.
• Experience in being the lead contact with international clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft office and design/presentation programmes such as Canva.
• Basic understanding of and experience in pattern cutting and grading.
• Experience in working autonomously and leading projects with good problem-solving skills, awareness of limitations and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of the workings of a garment factory
• Understanding of and interest in the international fashion industry – fashion brands, seasons, buying process etc.
• Excellent English both verbal and written.
• Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.
• Honesty, reliability, discretion and confidentiality are essential.
