Production Co-ordinator - Top Gear, Factual Entertainment at BBC Media Action

Role Responsibility

Top Gear is an exciting, fun & dynamic production to work on. You will be working closely with the editorial teams, planning logistics for these complex shoots and you will play an important part of making this show. This is a real hands on, creative, high energy role with lots of opportunities to work on location with big teams, both in the UK and abroad.

You will report to the Production Manager/ Line Producer and in partnership with the editorial team to deliver outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform content within a supportive team environment.

We are looking for a resilient, experienced and confident PC. This role requires you to be agile, so flexibility is key.

Skills required:

• Demonstrable Production Co-ordinator experience within a production team. 
• Confident negotiator
• Good attention to detail and well organised
• Extensive experience of setting up complex location filming.
• Foreign filming experience desirable but not essential
• Experience in organising the logistics of large crews on location.
• Delivered a range of productions on time and on budget
• Good working knowledge of end-to-end multi-platform productions with an understanding of the technology used.
• Confident managing budgets and cost reporting.
• Enthusiastic & flexible with an intuitive approach to work
• Previous experience of BBC systems preferable but not essential.
