Production Supervisor at Adept Systems

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the cable manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols. This role involves managing a team of operators and technicians to meet production targets for various cable types including power, control, instrumentation, and fiber optic cables

Key Responsibilities

• Implement quality control checks at each stage of production.
• Ensure products meet industry standards
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to resolve non-conformities
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety briefings.
• Report and coordinate maintenance of equipment with the engineering team.
• Maintain a clean and organized production floor.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, scrap rates, and downtime.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Analyze performance metrics and recommend process improvements.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in cable manufacturing or similar industrial production.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, lean manufacturing
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen certification and Safety certifications.
• Training in cable testing standards and equipment.
